Clout celebrates South African design with launch of Bodulo furniture

Clout is bringing South African design to VDF x Ventura Projects in its launch of a furniture collection by emerging designer Khosi Leteba.

Clout is an initiative and online marketplace established by Nando's in 2015, which exists to support and showcase designers from South Africa.

In 2019 it hosted Clout Industry Days at 100% Design South Africa, during which local designers were invited share their designs with industry experts for a chance to fabricate them.

 

As part of VDF x Ventura Projects, Clout will exhibit the winning furniture collection from the event by Khosi Leteba, which has now been brought to life in collaboration with Wiid Design Studio. Named Bodulo, the collection celebrates different elements of the Basotho lifestyle.

 

Clout's showcase also spotlights the other winning concepts from the event, alongside works by the designers from Nando's Hot Young Designer Talent Search.
