THE TASTING
ROOM IN CAPE TOWN: TWEE JONGE GEZELLEN
The Tasting Room in Cape Town: Twee Jonge Gezellen
The Twee Jonge Gezellen Farm, home of Krone Méthode Cap Classique, a vintage wine collection, has a new space for tasting. The tasting room is an addition to the farm which had recently gone through a revival and refurbishment. The tasting room offers visitors the chance to sample the farm’s signature bottles in a stylish and minimal space with unique views of the cellar where the wines are stored. The feeling that this room gives is a monastic one, inviting people to reflect on the flavors of the wine and the stunning landscape around them. The tasting room also includes custom-made pieces from South African designers such as Gregor Jenkin, Wild Design, and Meyer Von Wielligh, and also an extensive collection of art and sculpture. The inner space was even curated by Tracy Lynch of Studio Lee Lynch which has helped to craft the extraordinary interior. If you prefer to have your wine outside, they have a raised terrace with private bar for guests to enjoy the beautiful weather.
